Folder Options Missing??

          Many of us sometimes find the folder options missing in windows explorer due to some virus or trojan effect.
Here's the solution-->
 
Open Run and then type "gpedit.msc".
Now goto User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer.
Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen "Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu"
Just check it, if it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured.

I hopes that you will find the option after restarting windows..

This system process indexes and updates lists of all the files that are on your computer. It does this so that when you do a search for something on your computer, it will search faster by scanning the index lists. If you don't search your computer often, or even if you do search often, this system service is completely unnecessary. To disable do the following:

1. Go to Start
2. Click Settings
3. Click Control Panel
4. Double-click Add/Remove Programs
5. Click the Add/Remove Window Components
6. Uncheck the Indexing services
7. Click Next

How To Rebuild Icon Cache In Windows 7 – Fix Corrupted Icons

Incorrectly displayed icons are some of the most common yet annoying problems a Windows user can face and the fix is simple, rebuild icon cache. Users who frequently apply transformation packs/themes and the like run into this problem. What usually happens is, icons displayed on any part of the GUI, be it the start menu or desktop are corrupted or show entirely wrong icons meant for other files. This happens because Windows messes up the icon cache. To speed up performance, Windows caches all icons at a single place. If icons are repeatedly modified, this cache can get corrupted and files are assigned incorrect or corrupted icons.

The fix for this problem is quite simple and doesn’t require too much effort, however it’s good if you have a system restore point ready just in case. So here’s what you have to do to rebuild icon cache.

Steps to rebuild icon cache:

Step 1 – Open “Computer” or anything in Windows Explorer.

Step 2 – Click “Organize”, then navigate to “Folder and search options”.

Step 3 – Under the “View” tab, set it to “Show hidden files, folders and drives” as given below and click Apply.

Step 4 - Now navigate to “C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Local”. delete the file named “IconCache.db”. Here *Username* is whatever user account you are using currently.

How To Block Any Website???

Have you even been in a situation when you have to block certain websites from your computer for any reason? Well, I am not sure about any body else but certainly I have been many times in such situation. Parents may also want to prevent access to certain websites on their computer so that children can’t get to them from internet.
So what’s the solution?
Aaaah… It’s very simple.

1.) Open “Run” from the start menu (or press WinKey + r). Just copy paste the following path and hit ENTER.

notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Alternately, go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc and find the file“hosts”. Open that file in Notepad.
2.) When this hosts file is opened in Notepad, at the end of the file you will see something like “127.0.0.1 localhost”.
3.) Under “127.0.0.1 localhost” just add another website URL that you want to block.
For Example:-
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.2 www.dailyhackingtips.com
127.0.0.3 www.allgovtjobs.in
4.) Make sure every time you add another website, the last digit of the address 127.0.0.x should not be the same.

5.) Save the file and exit.
So, here you go. Restart your browser if it is opened and changes will take place immediately.
The good thing is that no message, no pop ups nothing will be displayed when someone tries to open a blocked website. Your browser will just fail to open those websites without any error messages.

How To Get Someone’s Ip Address Through Facebook

Hello Friends ! Today i am going to post the trick for getting someone’s Ip through Facebook.

Step 1 – First invite or ping that person for a chat on facebook .

Step 2 – Make sure your all other tabs in browser and other services in computer are closed. If Possible for you then delete all the cookies-cache and browsing history from your browser.

Step 3 – While chatting on Facebook go to Start >- Run >- cmd .

Step 4 – After Opening command Prompt Type  netstat -an command and hit Enter.

Step 5 – Now you will get Ip Address of all the established connections there .

Step 6 – Note all the suspicious Ip’s and trace user using ip address tracer sites like whatismyip or ipmango.com .

Thats It !

You can use same trick for tracing ip of someone’s on Skype, gtalk and Yahoo Messenger .
