How to remove or hide someone from Facebook chat

 

Here is a simple tutorial to hide or remove unwanted people from the Facebook chat window without unfriend them,no tools or browser add-ons needed ,we are using the new Facebook chat settings to remove the unwanted people from the Facebook chat.

Step 1

Click on the Facebook chat settings (bottom right corner)

Step 2

From chat settings select “advanced  settings”

Step 3

In advanced settings ,select the first option if you want to hide few people from the Facebook chat ,you can type the names of friends you want to remove from the Facebook chat and click save.

Or if you want to visible only to few friends then select the second option which is “Only some friends see you” you can type the names of friends you want to be visible and click save.

Yippee you done it ! now only allowed friends can see you online .
